Rather than focus on maintaining specific genetics, all of our Genetic Stock are specifically chosen based on these characteristics:

Ease of working/Docility. Our bees are neither Overly aggressive nor incredibly docile. Defensiveness is an important trait in the honey bee survival factor (it’s why we have protective gear).

Honey bees are naturally hygienic towards Varroa destructor. We believe an aggressive and consistent mite treatment plan is more important than breeding plans.

Queen Cells/$5 each
Our Queen Cells are sold 2-3 days before emerging as Virgin Queens; when it’s safest to handle them. It’s a great way to introduce a queen into your splits without worrying about acceptance rates. Cell protectors are included.
Mated Queens/$35
Our Newly Mated Queens come marked and ready for introduction. Strict records and genetic characteristics are carefully chosen to raise our queens. Give your beehives a head-start with a queen that comes ready to lay!
Virgin Queens/$20
Our Virgin Queens come marked without additional charge. They are banked carefully in cell finishers that care for them with plenty of resources to ensure a better quality queen for higher acceptance rates in your colonies.
Proven Mated Queens/$45
Our Proven Mated Queens are tested for their laying consistency and pattern before selling them to you. This consists of them laying for three solid weeks before selling them to our customers who understand that a Proven Queen is a reliable queen for their colonies. They come marked at no additional cost to you.
